Long Meditation- Push your limit when it comes to the length of your meditation. Meditate for one full hour. To support a longer meditation, sit in a supportive chair with a pillow supporting your lower back. Make sure your feet are flat on the floor. If the chair is too high, put a blanket under your feet. If you set a timer, you will know when your hour is up and you wont have to keep looking at the time. Choose a meditation technique that works for you or just focus on the breath while maintaining a long spine.
The joy of Play Meditation- Summon a happy memory of a game you loved to play as a child. Allow that feeling to expand, meditate from that place and allow the feeling to flourish.
Honoring Distractions- Show dedication and meditate somewhere that offers plenty of distractions. Use the mantra “Om” to stay focused and clear within. Each time you hear something that is distracting say “yes,” honoring the sound as a manifestation of the divine and continue with your meditation. Enjoy the play…
Energy Meditation- Visualize supportive energy from the universe entering your body through the 3rdchakra. If the sun is out you might imagine the rays of light from the sun entering your body and filling your 3rdchakra up with energy. With every exhale, allow that energy to expand through your entire body. Let it increase and intensify. Revel there.
