Positive root chakra affirmations have the potential to replace unsupportive thought patterns and transform lives. We do what we think. Many of us feel we have no control over our thoughts, but if our thoughts are responsible for the way we perceive our world, loving, encouraging and optimistic thoughts will surely result in a wonderful existence. If it’s true that negative thinking is absorbed into our tissues, our every cell, it is imperative we overcome this harmful tendency with heartfelt consideration for our physical and emotional bodies. It is urgent we forgive ourselves and others. When we worry and obsess, languishing in reflections of the smaller aspects of our daily dramas, we forget who we truly are, and we operate at a lower frequency, joining others who dwell in lesser affairs. Choosing kindness and empathy uplifts us, reflecting back to us a vibrant world that surrounds us with opportunities to co-create with the Universe.
When you awaken in the morning, before you turn in at night or at any point in the day when idle thoughts arise, repeat the following affirmations to support healing your relationship with your body. Use the root chakra affirmations suggested, or build one of your own. Be creative, visualizing a wonderful outcome to your challenge. Allow the affirmation to reflect that outcome. For example:
I LOVE AND ACCEPT MY BODY AS IT IS.
MY BODY IS HEALTHY AND VITAL
Many of us struggle with the evolution our bodies undergo as we age. Some philosophers feel our minds are so powerful that if we believe we can age without adverse effects, we will. Transforming decades of conditioning about aging takes powerful commitment to a dynamic new way of thinking. An affirmation like this is a good start:
MY BODY IS AGELESS AND FUNCTIONS PERFECTLY.
MY BODY BECOMES FOR BEAUTIFUL WITH AGE.
Affirmations that support relationships within or outside of a group might be:
I BELONG AND THRIVE IN MY INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP/COMMUNITY/FAMILY WHILE REMAINING FREE TO EXPRESS MY INDIVIDUALITY AND CREATIVITY.
I FEEL SAFE AND LOVED WHETHER I AM IN A GROUP OR BY MYSELF.
I ACCEPT MY FAMILY MEMBER/FRIEND AS THEY ARE.
To enhance the balancing of your sense of belonging, consider adding one or all of the following positive affirmations to moments throughout your day, submitting a task to the mind in place of its usual meanderings.
I AM PERFECT AS I AM.
I HAVE A RIGHT TO BE HERE.
