Chakra Half Day Retreats

This year, I will be leading a series of seven half day chakra retreats on Saturdays, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Each retreat is unique and will focus on a particular chakra. Participating in all of them will provide a deep understanding of the connections among your body, mind, emotions, and spirit, providing better balance for a healthy, joyful life. If you wish to address only specific areas, you can take a chakra self test to determine which chakras to focus on.
Each Chakra retreat is designed to awaken, strengthen, and balance a specific chakra. We will begin with an indepth understanding of the chakra and set specific intentions for healing challenges that we may have with that energy center.
After setting our personal intentions we will continue with a Hatha Yoga practice to focus and awaken the specific parts of the body related to that chakra. We will explore breathing techniques and chakra-specific guided meditation to achieve balance. We will learn Life Tools for extra healing for each chakra and complete the day with an empowering meditation labyrinth walk.
TBA - Root Chakra: During this retreat we will focus on being present. We will address fears and anxiety to allow you to be more focused and content.
TBA - Sacral Chakra: This retreat will address our emotional intelligence. We will discover our desires and enthusiasms, giving a more joyful flow in life.
TBA - Solar Plexus Chakra: Learn how to harness your creative instinct. This retreat will allow you to discover your personal, individual power of creation.
TBA - Heart Chakra: Discover how to heal from losses and disappointments, whether from old relationships, deaths, or other losses. Learn to love yourself and others unconditionally, freeing yourself to fully experience a joyful life.
TBA - Throat Chakra: Use sound as a tool to purify your energy body and find your voice.
TBA - 3rd Eye Chakra: Learn to be free from preconceptions and old beliefs, whether imposed or personal. Find a new freedom to chose what you want to be instead of subconsciously defaulting to old habits.
TBA - Crown Chakra: Learning to connect to yourself, others, and the divine. Find absolute freedom.
Facilitator: Sherry Schreck, M.S., Certified Anusara Yoga Instructor, Reiki Master. In Addition to her Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering, Sherry has 20 years of experience as a yoga instructor and Reiki Practitioner working with people to support their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual body’s natural healing ability.
Tuition: $45 Donation for each Half Day Chakra Retreat

Things to have: Yoga mat, journal and pen.
Location: Virtually on Zoom until we can meet in person again.

Zen Meditation & Yoga Retreat
October 10-11th, 2020
A Weekend retreat to calm the mind and nurture the body. You will learn and practice Zen and other Meditation techniques, do Hatha and Restorative Yoga, learn and practice The Transformation Method, and partake in Mindful Eating and enjoy the beauty of Nature in the zen garden and walking a meditation labyrinth.
