The thousand petalled lotus represents the infinite mind as it connects us to divine intelligence and the source of manifestation. It is the final goal – liberation, which is represented by the dot or Bindu in the center image of OM.
The Location of the Crown Chakra is at Top of head.
The Element & energy of the Crown Chakra are Thought and energy state of consciousness
The Color that represents the Crown Chakra is Violet or sometimes golden white
Body parts & Organs associated with the Crown Chakra are the Cerebral cortex, central nervous system and pituitary gland
The Sounds to help awaken the Crown Chakra is the sound of ‘ng’ as in sing.
The Psychical areas are Understanding resulting in bliss, union, wholeness. Ability to perceive, analyze, and assimilate information; Intelligent, thoughtful, aware; Open-minded, able to question; Spiritually connected; Wisdom and mastery, broad understanding.
The Challenge of the Crown Chakra is Attachment to things and people.
The Identity and rights of the Crown Chakra are the Universal identity and the right ‘to know’ and to experience Ultimate Freedom.
The Physical Malfunctions related to the imbalance of the Crown Chakra are Attachment, Neurological disorders, depression, apathy, alienation, confusion, overly intellectual, poor boundaries, migraines, ADD, coma, brain tumors, amnesia, cognitive delusions. Always consult a medical practitioner if these symptoms persist. A Reiki Bio-Field Clearing session can assist in removing the negative energy field that attract these issues.
The Yoga poses to activate the Crown Chakra are Yoga Mudra (top of head), headstand, hand stand
The hand Mudras for the Crown Chakra are Uttarabodhi Mudra – place both hands interlaced in front of your solar plexus, at the level of your stomach. Touch the index fingers together pointing upwards and the thumbs together pointing downwards. This is the Mudra of highest enlightenment. It can be good for when you need a flash of inspiration.Chin or Jnana Mudra – thumb and index fingers touch.
