The Balancing the Chakras Retreat provides a deep experience of the connections among your body, mind, emotions, and spirit, providing better balance for a healthy, joyful life. 

The retreat is designed to awaken, strengthen, and balance the chakras. We will begin with an  understanding of the chakras and set specific intentions for healing challenges that we may have with the different energy centers. 

After setting our personal intentions we will continue with a Hatha Yoga practice to focus and awaken the specific parts of the body related to the chakras. We will explore breathing techniques and chakra-specific guided meditation to achieve balance. We will learn and practice Healing the Chakras Integration Technique to heal the root cause for the disharmony in chakras and complete the day with an empowering meditation. 

Typical Schedule:

9am - Opening circle with introductions and intensions.

9:30am - Introduction to healing and balancing the chakras

10:30am - Break

11am - mixed level Chakra Awareness Yoga 

12pm - Chakra Meditation and healing the chakras

1pm - Lunch Break and enjoy the Zen Gardens

2:30pm - Restorative Yoga and healing the chakras

3:15pm - Chakra Awakening Movement

4:15pm -  Purifying the Chakras Breathing Technique

4:45pm - Silent Break

5pm - open eyed Metta Meditation

5:30pm - Closing circle

Facilitator: Sherry Schreck, M.S., Certified Anusara Yoga Instructor, Reiki Master. In Addition to her Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering, Sherry has 20 years of experience as a yoga instructor and Reiki Practitioner working with people to support their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual body’s natural healing ability. click here for detailed bio. 

Tuition: $85 Donation for the Balancing the Chakras Retreat on Zoom or at the Hidden Valley Zen Center.

Things to have: Yoga mat, Pillow, large towel, blanket, socks, layed clothing, journal and pen.
