  5. Personally, my exposure to and regular use of binaural beat technology to facilitate meditation has enriched my life in ways too numerous to mention. Therefore, I wanted to share this information from Paul Rademacher of The Monroe Institute. Here it is:

    "Today I was interviewed on the radio about the latest hysteria concerning the welfare of our youth. For those of you who haven't heard, they are supposedly "digital drugs" delivered via the internet (for a fee) that promise to deliver highs akin more traditional hallucinogenics.  The basis for these digital highs are binaural-beats.

    It doesn't matter whether we are by nature conservative or liberal.  Both Fox News and MSNBC are equally happy to push our rage buttons and sell us something that promises to fill the emptiness. Being "right" is a powerful elixir, it allows us to immediately simplify this complex world into categories of white hats and black hats.  Being right allows us to embark on one crusade after another that is deeply satisfying to the ego.  We don't need to listen to anyone else because we already know the truth. Ignorance, as they say, truly IS bliss.  However, it's a bliss we can no longer afford. There comes a time when we must say enough is enough. There comes a time to turn off the constant din of media driven hysteria and begin to listen to the inner voice.  And that, in itself, is an altered state of consciousness.   11. COPING WITH GRIEF

    For anyone experiencing the grief associated with the loss of a loved one, relationship, home or income, it is essential to reinforce your energy field with positive vibration.   13. REAL CHANGE

     I was doing some New Year space clearing, cleaning out closets, cabinets & drawers and came across a little book I had purchased a few months back and never got around to reading. Synchronosity being what it is, this particular find could not have come at a more fortuitous moment. My ex husband died this past week and despite my best efforts over the years, the passage of time and shared children and grandchildren, as well as the loss of our child; we had a horrible relationship.     Living, as we do, in such very challenging economic times, professional energy treatment often makes the first cut in trimming the budget.     It's difficult to understand energy balancing treatment intellectually: the best way to "get it" is to "go for it'. This treatment really enables you to feel the flow of energy within and between your chakras and auric field. You experience your energy field extending way beyond your physical body during treatment. Brennan pracitioners are rigorously trained and the treatments are conducted while you are fully clothed with the practitioner's hands rested on energy points on the body and off in the auric field. Treatments last approximately 1 1/2 hours and cost varies but is comparable to a good massage. Definitely worth a try for anyone seriously interested in gaining a different perspective on coping with health challengesbe they emotional, mental,physical or spiritual.     We are universally coming into a week of some very bad "chi" around September 17th! Hard as it may be, because it's all about the unexpected, it's super important to energetically stay in the pink vibration as much as possible during this time. It offers protection from all the negativity and emanates unconditional love from your auric field out into the chaos at a time when it is very much needed. So wear pink, visualize it surrounding you in a bubble, use essential oils with rose, take Bach Rescue Remedy daily, keep a piece of Rose quartz near you, and listen to meditation, harp or Indian flute recordings. These energetic tools will help you to function at a higher vibration and cope with anything that rears it's ugly head in your world.

  19. WHERE TO BEGIN WORKING WITH ENERGY

    Once we decide to stop blaming and take resonsibility for our own process, where do we begin? While we might mentally know and acknowledge that getting drunk and beating up on the family is not the way to go, it isn't usually a cake walk to shift into new patterns of response to the old triggers. While we all would like to "walk our talk" fear and programmed responses and blocks ingrained in our energy field, more often than not, sabotage our efforts at rehabilitation. This is why I so love subtle energy work. It is a simple way to remove the judgment and self flagellation from the self improvement process and begin to recognize our energy field for what it is, both a blessing and a curse; but ultimately malleable.

    In my book, Everyday Energy I set out a program to identify your  unique energetic strengths and weaknesses by immersing yourself in a particular vibration using all of your senses. So think each of the seven colors of the rainbow and notes of the scale intensified by synergistic bombardment, as it were, of your sensory system. You see "it", hear "it", smell "it", eat "it", wear "it" until you get "it"! What exactly is "it"? It is how vibration effects you. Once you get "it", you can use it to balance yourself and stop grasping at other people's energy fields or use addictions in an attempt to feel okay. it is a gradual process but the immersion helps a lot. So try an orange day {relates to joy and emotional balance) just to give it a whirl. Wear orange (real orange not muted or pastel). Eat orange foods throughout the day, i.e. carrots, pumpkin, squashes, OJ,mangos, papayas. Close your eyes intermittently and visualize orange light filling you up from the top of your head to the tip of your toes. Listen to orange music whenever you can, Steel Drum, Carribean, Folk Music, Country Music, the Beach Boys; any fun light hearted music is an example. Diffuse Orange oil or Neroli or Melissa or put a few drops on a cotton pad and sniff it occasionally during your day. If you can dance or swim, take a bath or wash the car with a hose. Orange energy relates to the water element and also female hormonal balance. So now what? At the end of your day, it's time to ask yourself-

    1. How do I feel? Happier, more relaxed, more emotional, more creative, good, bad ?
    2. Do I find myself wanting more of this energy or do I want to go into a dark room and hide?
    3. Was my work or daily routine different in any way?
    4. Did the people I encountered react differently to me than is usual?
    5. How and when can I use this energy to my advantage or to help me cope with a particular challenge?

    You are on your way to a better way of coping with day to day energy challenges!

  20. WHERE"S MY ABUNDANCE?

    Feeling the pinch? Out of work? Out of money? Out of love? What to do? Wear pearls or carry a small pearl with you in your pocket. They're all about love & abundance. Take a time out 15 minutes morning and evening and visualize money streaming from your computer screen, mailbox, and/or telephone while listening to meditation music of your choice. Feel the rush of knowing financial security is yours.If it's love you"re lacking, visulaize hearts and flowers streaming from those same sources instead. Wear pink and think pink! Rose pink is right on when it comes to attracting love, Green and gold attract financial abundance, so encapsulate yourself in the color bubble that fits the bill. Make collages with pictures of yourself surrounded by the things you want: money, a new home or car, a great vacation, the perfect guy or gal, whatever lights your fire! Place the picture somewhere where you see it regularly! Similarly, remove from view any pictures or items that remind you of what you lack or aloneness. Put pictures of couples in your bedroom and prominently display pictures of yourself with those who love & support you.Declutter and  don't allow yorself to hang on to items that have outlived their usefulness out of fear! If you want new things to comeinto your life there must be room for them. Repeat an appropriate mantra or affirmation each time you think about money or love. i.e. I am wealthy & prosperous, I attract money (love) like a magnet. I am open to abundance in mind, body & spirit. Give it time! The universe works in it's own way! Be confident that all you desire is on it's way.
